Leeds Bonfire Night 2009
November 5 2009
Various Locations

Remember, remember the fifth of November! How could I forget? That’s the date back in 1605 when that pesky Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament!

These days there is a right old celebration every year that involves the burning of Guy’s effigy, huge amounts of cash spent on highly technical displays and big, brash bonfires.

In Leeds there are a number of events to choose from in the city parks - take your pick from the following:

Roundhay Park

Springhead Park, Rothwell
